Welcome to the 3WA Secret Pal Exchange, an annex of ThreeWayAction.com. The Exchange was brought to life by JayQubed as a way for the members of ThreeWayAction to bring light into each other's lives. ElleBee was then responsible for the exchange for a number of years, and to her we owe much. Currently misscourtness is coordinating Secret Pals.

Look, Martha, there's a FAQ!

• If you are interested in participating in the SPE, submit your answers to the questionnaire to misscourtnes. It will be added to the database that will be accessible to your fellow 3WA'ers.


• To participate in the SPE, you must have 50+ posts. Exceptions are made for those 3WA "virgins" who were already participating in the exchange at the time the rule was instituted.


• No one is required to play every month. There will be a deadline in the current month to let the coordinator know if you would like to participate the following month.


• The following month's participants are collected and matches are made at random (pulling names from a hat).


• One of the most important things is that this is supposed to be a fun project to help raise everyone's spirits. This project was started in the hopes of raising people's spirits, not in the hopes of making people go broke. Spending a lot of money is not a necessity to let someone know you're thinking about them. We have tried to include some ideas in the sidebar that are easy on the pocketbook. Let's just have fun with this, without breaking the bank.

• Send an E-Card.


• Send them an anonymous email. Include a poem you wrote about them.


• Snail mail a card.


• Send a gift.


• Have flowers delivered.


• Write a journal entry for them. (Email it to them anonymously.)


• If their favourite journaler has a CafePress store, buy them something from it.


• Get their favourite journaler/3WA Poster to write a guest entry for them.


• An online gift certificate from their favourite store

Only fill out the answers to those items you are comfortable answering, as this information (except for your snail mail address) will be available online. The only required field is your ThreeWay Action username.

Should you choose to include your snail mail address, it will not be part of the publically accessible list of questionairres. It will only be made available to the person who has you as a secret pal, and since the Secret Pal admins will be drawing the names and making the matches, they will know who that is.
